Twenty years ago, the Apple Storage story began with our very first branch in Kwun Tong in 2005. From the start, we chose red and white as our brand colors: red to represent our heart and dedication to service, and white to symbolize a clean, comfortable environment. We set out to break the stereotype of warehouses being “cold and cluttered,” striving instead to provide every customer with a storage experience that is secure, comfortable, and genuinely warm.

Our growth has not always been smooth sailing; we have earned our progress one step at a time. The Amoy Gardens storage fire in 2016 was a turning point that fundamentally reshaped the industry. Faced with this challenge, we chose to step up and take responsibility. We co-founded the Hong Kong Self Storage Association to unite the industry and navigate those difficult times together. We have been dedicated to raising safety standards ever since, with our branches consistently obtaining Fire Services Department (FSD) compliance certificates. 2024: Partnered with the electronic payment platform Wonder to develop a QR code self-service payment function. This created the industry’s most comprehensive integrated payment platform, allowing for highly efficient order processing.
2025: Launched the newly developed Storage+ customer portal. Clients can now access electronic statements and make payments anytime, anywhere, completing our transition to a fully digital service model.
Giving back to the community that sustains us
Storage is a locally-rooted business, and we firmly believe in the importance of giving back to the community. Beyond establishing our own volunteer team and organizing charitable events to support the elderly and underprivileged, we founded the Apple Storage Creative Center (ASCC) in 2024.
